Woodford took nearly two full teams to play a friendly at Saffron Walden. Rotating players so everyone got a fair amount of game time Woodford could not get in their stride in the three sessions of 20 minutes.
Saffron Walden dominated the first two sessions scoring four tries in each without reply.
In the final session Woodford settled and a more competetive game saw Haaris Sohoye and Will Carey score for Woodford with Saffron Walden scoring a break away try in the last minute.
