Woodford Green CC U11 v Buckhurst Hill CC U11
A thrashing for Buckhurst Hill in the Hayden Davies Cup.
After losing the toss Woodford Green were put into bat.
After a good opening partnership between Ali and Nasser the Green got off to a strong start.
Rohan came in at three and played some beautiful shots and after Nasser was caught out Ben and Rohan had a good partnership as well.
The Green finished on a respectable 122 for 5 off of 25 overs. Our top scorer was extras.
Woodford Green started with two quick wickets and Buckhurst Hill never really got going. Ben, Harry, Jai and George each took two wickets and Nasser took one but it was good bowling all round.
Very well done to Jai in his second appearance. His figures were 2 overs, 2 maidens and 2 wickets. Another superb performance giving us three wins out of three.
Due to an off field collar bone breaking incident Josh P was unable to play. Hope you get better soon.
