Local Derby this weekend at The Neil Rourke Stadium

This weekend see's Woodley host Curzon Ashton in the local Manchester Derby, here is what the managers have to say:

"I am sure that it will be fiercely contested and will affect the position of both clubs come the end of the season. Curzon have done phenomenally well so far leading the way for much of this season having won 17 from 25 league games and only once dropping 3 points. We all at Woodley are under no illusion to the importance of the three points to both teams today. We will be striving to take them!

We beat Curzon away 3 - 0 back in mid November in a cup game in which both teams, although not 100% at their strongest, fielded all first team squad players. On the night the game was played by two sides adopting to different footballing philosophies and we are sure that todays game will again see those two ideologies clash again. Curzon have lots of experience in every department, are well drilled in what it takes to compete in this league and get points on the board."
