In another close encounter the only goal in the first period came the way of the visitors when a long kick down field by the Eaton keeper was inadvertently turned in to his own net by Mike Coward. It was yet another hard working performance from Woolley but the majority of attacking opportunities came as half chances with the killer ball somewhat lacking.

The hosts got there equaliser mid way through the second half when the visiting keeper made a mess of claiming a cross in to the box and clambered all over Adam Norris. It was Norris who popped up with the ball but as he tried to cut the ball back across the box an Eaton defender deliberately hand balled it leaving the ref with no choice but to point to the spot. Leading marksman Brett Turner despatched the spot kick to level the scores. The lads could not be faulted for effort as everyone put in a great shift but a second goal wouldn’t come Woolley’s way leaving the points to be shared.
