Woolston Rovers Rugby League Club are delighted to have been asked to supply Mascots and Flagbearers for the forthcoming Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Semi Final between Warrington Wolves and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at Leigh Sports Village.

Following the approach from Warrington the club put all of their Junior teams into a hat and drew out two lucky sides who will take part on the day. The Under 7s Newbies will be mascots for the Wolves whilst the Under 14s Golds will be holding the Wolves flag.

Club PRO Dave Whalley said, “This promises to be a great occasion and as a club we are thrilled to have been asked by the Wolves to supply the Mascots and Flagbearers. Our two sides that have been selected to fulfil the honour are really excited to be a part of the day and hopefully they will be able to witness a victory for the Wire that will see then secure a place at Wembley. It is going to be a memorable day for our lads and they cannot wait to take to the field.”
