Woolston Rovers Rugby League Club have managed to secure a seminar with a leading concussion and head injury expert who educates on this subject on behalf of the RFL.

It is of vital importance that we work hard to put together events like this; not only to educate ourselves but also for the welfare of all of the players within our club. This seminar is not just for coaches and team managers but our volunteers, sponsors and parents are all welcome to attend along with the players from every age group.

RFL Medical Consultant Andy Lindley, who will run the hour long seminar said, “As project lead for the head injury programme for our professional clubs we now have forged strong links between the RFL and Football Association which means we have access to a further portfolio and this can only benefit our sport and offer vital education to our participants.”

A Rovers Club Spokesman said, “Off the pitch Woolston Rovers are gradually making great strides and other people within the Community game are sitting up and taking notice of this. This seminar is yet another example of how we do things and this can only be of benefit to everybody that is attached to the club. We’d like to thank Warrington Wolves Head of Youth Phil Jones for helping us to arrange this event and to the The University of Chester, Warrington Campus for hosting the event.”

Anyone wishing to attend should email woolstoncoachingcoordinator@gmail.com
