WARNING! Parking issues at Monks Club
There is an issue with parking at Monks Club at busy times.
We have asked for people to use the overflow car park on Hillock Lane and will be looking at making sure the barrier is open on Sunday mornings.
Some people have been parking on the grass verge on Somerset Way, along the access road to the club and park and blocking people's drives on Hillock Lane.
This morning the Police were called. They have now warned Monks' staff that from next week if you park in any of these areas you will receive a ticket.
As a club we need to respect the residents of Woolston and the users of Woolston Park who are being inconvenienced by the parking along the link road.
Please use the car parks provided. Monks car park gets full quickly. You can park in the spaces up near the ranger cabin for the park or alternatively you can park on Hillock Lane car park (we will solve the issue of the barrier). Also please alert your opposition of the parking issues and ensure they are directed to the correct areas.
