Woolston Rovers will hold their 3rd Annual Charity Day for Ronald McDonald House (Alder Hey) on Saturday 27th May 2017

at their Monks Sports Club home on Hillock Lane, Woolston.

The day’s entertainment will commence at 12 noon when an Under 7s tournament will take place and that will then be followed by the days main event at 2.00pm with the Woolston Rovers Past v Present game for the Noah Horrigan Trophy.

Noah was expertly looked after by the fantastic staff at Ronald McDonald House in Alder Hey during the early months of his life and his mum and dad, Louise and Liam, have done an awful lot of fundraising over the past seven years as gratitude for all that they did for Noah. Noah has been a playing member at Woolston Rovers since he was 4 years old and is now in the Under 7s side.

Could any past players who would like to take part in the game please contact Liam Horrigan by e-mail at liam.horrigan@yahoo.co.uk to confirm your availability.

The evening festivities will take place at The Bear & Bottle on Mersey Street from 7.00pm where young local up and coming band The Look Outs will be performing live. Tickets for the evening are just £2 each and are available from Liam on the above e-mail address.

After the games in the afternoon there will be a post match raffle and then in the evening there will be an exclusive auction and also some nice prizes. Any donations for the raffle or auction would be very gratefully received.

If you would like to be involved/help at the Charity Day on 27th May then please contact club PRO Dave Whalley on 07809 647014 or by e-mail at whalley_dave@hotmail.com for further details.
