Welcome to the new 2017 / 18 playing season.
We are delighted to see so many youngsters committing to playing again this season and look forward to a fun and successful season for all.
This season we will start with a formal “ Team Briefing “ for each team.
The Team Briefing will take place on either Friday 1st September or Saturday 2nd September. It will be held at the beginning of your first training session and we would like all parents to attend as well.
Team Briefing will include :
• Short welcome from a committee member.
• Explanation of the FA Codes of Conduct.
• Short welcome from your Child Welfare Officer.
• Presentation of the new club rainjacket. These will cost £ 10 each.
• Opportunity to pay your annual fees to our treasurer Jon Dennis who will be available with a card reader to accept debit card / credit card payments.
• Opportunity to order and pay for the club rainjacket.
Please note the following important points for the new season :
A child is only eligible to play in a match for the Club once payment of the annual fee has been received. If you have not paid please pay Jon Dennis at the Team Briefing or you can pay by cheque or bank transfer beforehand.
Please also ensure that you have registered your child on our central Webcollect System. Details on how to do so can be found at that link.
For the coming season all parents, players and coaches of Woolton Hill Argyle will be bound by the FA Codes of Conduct. Please take some time to read these on ourClub Website. It is a requirement of our FA Charter Status that we follow these Codes of Conduct. They are a great way to have a common set of guidelines and principles that we can all follow within the Club.
Those of you using the Woolton Hill Junior School this season – please can we ask you to be mindful of the local residents and avoid parking on the main road as far as possible. Please avoid blocking any local driveways and try to walk or cycle to the school if at all possible. At peak times we would also encourage you to try and park on a local team mates drive and walk down to the school together.
