1 year ago By WCFC NEWS

"it didn't take me very long to decide what to do."

New Joint-Manager, Lee Hughes spoke to about re-joining The Blue And Whites:

"I assesed the stage in my career after I receieved the called from Worcester. Telford were interested in signing me again, but, I'm not going to play forever, as much as i'd like to. I still feel as though i'm fit enough for a couple more years.

"I was offered a joint-manager and player role and it didn't take me very long to decide what to do.

"I'm excited. I feel that with my contacts, knowledge and experience in the game I can do a great job. It's not going to be easy but I'm ready for the challenge.

"I've played under countless managers and have learnt a lot throughout the years, especially when it comes to man management and earning players respect.

"Me and John had a long chat with the Chairman and we decided that it would be a good fit. I want to help Worcester City Football Club and give the fans something to cheer about once again."
