The show was renamed to take in the diverse talent on show from community groups & this year Worcester City FC & Worcester City FC Supporters Trust gave the council a helping hand by organising the Sports Zone.

As well as the Club; Worcester Race Course, Worcester Lawn Tennis Club, Worcester Rowing Club and The Worcester City Council Sports Development Team all took part in the event.

Club and Trust volunteers were promoting the Club from the newly delivered and Branded Gazebo (paid for from Club funds & if anyone would like to contribute to help pay for this we would gladly accept donations) which is a replacement for the heavily used & wind battered previous Gazebo.

Coaches from The Worcester City FC Youth set up and The City in The Community Coach ran plenty of activities throughout the day including Freestyle Football Skills & Penalty Shoot Outs for all ages.

Elsewhere in the Sports Zone Worcester Race Course brought its equiciser along to give people the chance to have a go at being a jockey : Worcester Lawn Tennis Club ran Tennis Coaching; The City Council Sports Development Team ran multi Sports sessions all day long & The Worcester Rowing Club organised rowing sessions.

It was another successful day and another to the ever expanding list of Community Events attended since the end of last season.
