Club Societies - Former Players
The WRFC Former Players Association is what it says on the tin, and was formed 13 years ago. Every year since, (with one exception) a Re-Union Lunch has been organised. Apart from the opportunity of meeting old friends and former players from all eras, including pre-war, and from all over the UK and abroad, it is a great day out, and if you are unable to visit the Club as often as you would like, make this occasion one of your visits.
The Lunch this season will be on the day of the Gloucester game on Saturday 8TH May 2010.
Places are limited so tickets will be issued on a first come first served basis as usual. Put the date in your diary if you want to come. Full details and costs will be sent to registered members in January 2010. Payment can be made by Credit Card if wished.
Our 15th Anniversary is in 2011, and we will be holding a Black Tie event to celebrate, with entertainment and a guest speaker. If you would like to pre-register for what will be a sell out occasion, please let me know.
If you are a Former Player of WRFC, and would like to become a member of the Association, and receive invites to the Annual Re Union Lunch, please contact me via the Club.
We are particularly eager to hear from Former Players who are not on our database, especially Players from the more recent professional era, and also our many Lady Players. If you are a Former Player of Worcester Rugby Club in any capacity and have not enrolled please contact the Secretary or any other Committee member.
