Worcester Colts beat Moseley in the semis, but were beaten by Bedford in the final of this new competition.
Most of the 9 teams took a 20+ squad but Worcester could only muster 12 for this inaugural contest. Despite losing to Bedford in the final they were the only side to score a try against the eventual winners. An excellent preparation for the season to come.
