Sony Nominated presenters Ollie Gallant & Simon Alexander hosted as Keates answered guests questions, opening many eyes to the world of women's rugby

Invited as a guest of honour alongside James Roe MBE, Paralympic Rowing Gold Medallist 2012 and Lily van den Broecke MBE
Paralympic Rowing Gold Medallist 2012, Worcester and England Prop, Keates gave a Q&A session on her rugby career and presented awards during the course of the evening.

The award evening was presented by the Stratford-on-Avon District Council Sports Development team and the 14th year of recognising the numerous and varied achievements of individuals and groups performing in local sports. They are not solely awarded for individual prowess, but also aim to reward the loyal, selfless work that enables others to experience enjoyment and fulfilment in sports and physical activity.

In order to acknowledge the wide range of talent and dedication to sport that they have here within their District, as many nominations as possible were invited from local clubs, schools and members of the public. The judges receive a great amount of detail on each nominee, highlighting their significant efforts and achievements in a wide range of sports. This evening is about recognising the nominees and enabling all to see the huge commitment, talent and dedication of our local sports people.

We were proud to be represented as a club and delighted for our elite players who are able to increase the ever growing profile of Women's Rugby.
