On behalf of the Club Committee, I am pleased to invite you to attend the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). Please find attached the agenda, a summary of financial accounts for this year will be presented at the meeting.

The AGM is an important constitutional gathering of WRFC Ladies’ members to hear about the progress of the Club, recent and on-going developments and the many achievements of the various sections and their members during the past year. The meeting also provides a forum for members to put forward their ideas for the future of the Club.

A minimum of 20 voting members are required to conduct the AGM. (a member being someone who has paid their club subscription or social membership subscription or has honorary membership for the current year).

Voting members may make nominations for the committee to be elected at the AGM. This must be done by sending the nominees name, the post for which they are nominated and the names of both the proposer and seconder to the Club Secretary. This should be received no later than Saturday April 23rd 2016. Nominations are welcome for all positions.

The positions that are open for nominations are:

Core committee:
Chair
Vice Chair
Rugby manager (New committee post)
Commercial Manager (previously Sponsorship Manager)
Media Manager
Treasurer
Secretary

Extended committee:
1st XV Matchday Manager (new committee post)
2nd XV Manager
2nd XV Matchday Manager (new committee post)
Fundraising secretary
Social secretary
1st XV Player representative
2nd XV Player representative

Election of honourary members (as applicable).

The election of officers will normally be by a show of hands.
The AGM will also consider a range of important club matters as determined by the Chairperson in addition, if you have any other business that you feel is relevant to the AGM, then please note that this should be submitted to the secretary, in writing, no later than Saturday April 23rd.

I implore you to attend and support your club. The AGM is a Business Meeting of the Club and as such, the agenda and items of discussion are focused on this objective.
