It was a beautiful sunny afternoon in Shrewsbury that saw an amazing afternoon of rugby for the under 15's.
It started with a great show of respect for Remembrance Day with all the team and coaches drawing a poppy on the back of their hands. After the minutes silence the game was underway.

Both halves were fast paced with great ball handling, tackling, rucking, scrummaging and team work from all the girls. Shrewsbury were giving it their all but training had really paid off for our girls and the first half was ours.

Tries scored;
Aliya, after running 3/4 of the pitch.Converted by Millie
Evelyn under the post. Converted by Melissa
Heidi, powering her way through Shrewsbury's defence

Half time score
Shrewsbury 0 - Worcester 36

The second half delivered pretty much the same as the first with us winning several of our line outs and continuing to be confident in our game.

Tries scored
A quick tap and go from Ellie resulted in a try from her, although her little celebration dance was more fitting to the sugar plum fairy!
Lily, after running the full length of the pitch grounding the ball under the posts. Millie converted.
Lily, this time running 3/4s of the pitch.
Aliya, after a great high catch from Millie and a stong boot down the pitch. Melissa converted.
Ellie, after taking the ball from the back of the scrum, seeing the space and going. Grounding the ball under the posts. Millie converted.

Final score
Shrewsbury 5 - Worcester 67

Shrewsbury never once let their heads drop and just kept going which paid off and just before fall time scored their first well deserved try of the game.

There was so much great play from Worcester today, far too much to keep track of and mention.
Each and every member of the team gave 100% and really showed what an awesome team they are becoming. They supported each other and showed that the do listen in training.

Tom, Steve and Gru, as well as all the families and team mates are very proud of them all.

A big shout out to Lola, Demi and Abi for coming all that way to support their mates.
