Pershore (U12) vs Worcester (U12)
Worcester take the honours in a close affair
On the first Sunday of thew advent the Mighty Woos went to Piddle in another bout of glorious British weather. Shortly after arriving coach Rob went for a piddle in Piddle.
In the first match the score was 4-3 to the Woosteratians, tries spread around with Sheriff Sam, Prickles, Dirtbag and Denso all crossing the paint to score. In the match the referee was exemplary, he made no mistakes and knew exactly what he was doing and what the rules were, all the players and coaches loved him and every decision he made....just kidding, he was a right plum.
(Post review note: I'm assuming the ref was Denso Snr. - [Angela])
In the second game the Mighty Woos triumphed again. The scorers were The Street, Bozza, Ant Man and wee Henry Densley.
In both matches the Woo Woos were confused as to whether we were playing rugby or football, as the other team kept kicking the ball and our shins. Rob the ref sent off a Pershoronian for slamming a player's head into the ground which came as a surprise to their coach, as for some reason this was against the rules.
The team played well, the spectators set a date for a night out, and the team finished by eating hot dogs.
Great match report there from Fozzy. The bar's been set pretty high, but if any of the other players want to channel their inner bard and take the opportunity to take the Micky out of coaches, parents, or opposition players, get busy and let me know.
