Holty returns

4 days ago By Paul Armstrong

Jordan Holt is making a swift return to Borough Park ...

... and, subject to the paperwork being completed before Friday’s noon deadline, will go straight into the squad for the trip to Weston-super-Mare.

The teenage midfielder spent a successful three-month loan with Reds from the end of August, making twenty-two appearances and scoring two goals – his first in senior football.

He made an immediate impression and was a prominent figure in the side until returning to Brunton Park towards the end of November.

Jordan will be eligible to play in all of Reds remaining fixtures with the exception of the Cumberland Cup.

We are grateful to all at Carlisle United for sanctioning his return during the January window.

Holty made his Carlisle United debut last season having come through the ranks at Brunton Park, earning a one-year professional development contract last May.
