Recruit a Red

6 days ago By Paul Armstrong

In an effort to strengthen the squad as we prepare for the latter part of the season, the club are inviting supporters be a part of a new initiative.

We have backed the management as far as the club’s finances will allow but to help boost funds above and beyond the budget, supporters can help directly fund further squad development. This would assist the managers’ efforts to add to the playing staff, especially when good local talent becomes available.

We haven’t explored this avenue before although, in the past, the Supporters’ Association has financed the recruitment of a player or two.

We hope that fans would appreciate knowing their contribution is purely for football purposes rather than going towards paying an electricity, gas or water bill.

Donations for this ring-fenced fund can be made as a ‘one-off’ payment or on a regular basis to the Cumberland Building Society (Reference: Recruit a Red).

Sort code: 16-52-21

Account number: 54103557

Alternatively, cheques or cash donations can be handed to a director.
