West Cumbria Youth League finals day

Eight finals were completed, all played in a tremendous spirit, with the majority evenly contested and won by only one goal.

As a committee, we are very grateful to everyone at Borough Park; groundstaff, kitchen staff, stewards and directors.

Nothing was too much trouble for you all weekend and from the League’s point of view it has run like clockwork.

Thanks to John Mackay, Steve Durham and Reds legend Bill Robson Snr for helping with our presentations.

I know I speak for all our players, coaches and parents when I say they have enjoyed a fantastic experience.

We as a committee hope this is the start of a mutually beneficial relationship for both organisations.
