22 year old Liam joined the Mariners on a month's loan from Conference North side Barrow in late January 2015 before making the move permanent in the summer.Signed a pro contract at Wigan Athletic in 2011 after a spell at Southport, before making several Football League appearances for Accrington Stanley in 2012.
Rejoined Southport in the Conference Premier in September 2013, going out on loan to Barrow before joining the Bluebirds permanently.
Can play in a number of positions including left back, central defence or midfield.
