'Time to enjoy football again'

Simon Massey, the highly considered coach who stepped up to work with the development squads last season, has stepped back from a role at the club.

Massey who boasts a great career at both playing and coaching has been an inspiration to the young up and coming players at the club and will be sorely missed.

Massey states 'I have been in football a long time playing and coaching and cant remember the last time I went to a game just to enjoy it, I am looking forward to just enjoying a game'

Simon will also follow the career of his son, Liam, who works with the clubs Under 19s and Handsworth.

Cotterill-Bolsover stated 'Simon will be greatly missed at the club, but I am also a father of 4 and understand fully Simon's decision, I have told Simon that he always welcome down at the club and he has been a great supporter of my work at the club which means a great deal to me, when someone of Simons calibre comes to your club for any amount of time you take it as a real compliment'

We wish him all the best.
