Two brand new clubs were introduced into NCEL Division One competition with Campion and Ollerton Town promoted from the West Riding County Amateur League and the Central Midlands League, respectively.

The draws for the first two rounds of the League Cup also took place with the following games to be scheduled in due course:

The Premier Division and Division One fixtures for the new season which starts on Saturday 6th August, 2016, are expected to be released in mid-July as the NCEL has to wait for other leagues above them to release their fixtures.
