Match report: Ladies 11 SUCL 0

A stunning performance from the Briggerettes saw the first three points of the season in a double figure display as they beat Sheffield United Community Ladies 11-0.
A superb performance by man of the match Morgan saw her put 5 goals in the back of the net as she started the season in style with Hooson also hitting a hat-trick for her first three goals of the season. Goals from Kilby, Millar and Marshall added to the scoreline in a game that was almost doomed by the weather.
Bridge were missing Hawcroft and Salter and lined up with Dudley, Morriss, Lindsall, Bradley-Morrison, Beighton, Marshall, Morgan, Millar, Hooson, Kilby, Kantecki and Thompson.
The defensive quad of Morriss, Bradley-Morrison, Lindsall and Beighton did a superb job with the opposition only managing three shots on target. The Bridge defence is still to concede a goal in an 11 a side game and has gone 4 and a half hours without conceding.
Kilby, who took the role as corner taker, was a particular menace producing 4 goals from set play including one for herself as a fierce corner was deflected.
Marshall and Kantecki once again produced a solid midfield display, Kantecki unlucky not to get on the score sheet while Marshall produced one of her speciality out of the box goals in the dying minutes.
Morgan, Millar and Hooson continued to dominate up top, they have all contributed to what is now 21 goals in three games for the Bridge.
Thompson, despite being asked to play on her wrong side, showed just how strong she is and how much pace she has as nothing seems to knock her back.
Dudley, who played the full game in the net was once again an example of the strong team ethic at the club as she was pulled into duty and was cool, calm and collected during the full game.
Final Score:
Worsbrough Bridge Ladies - 11
Sheffield United Community Ladies - 0
