Trio take reigns

Following on from recent changes to the management at Park Road, Worsbrough Bridge FC are pleased to unveil the new Senior management team following the departure of Dave Mace.

Mark Joyce and Nick Haywood will takes over the reigns at the club, whilst also adding Phil Jacobs as an integral member to take the club forward at this exciting time. The trio make the progression from the Reserves & U19’s set up following four years at the club that has seen the steady progression of the Reserve team and the successful U19 Northern Alliance title winning season of 12/13.

The club Chairman Wayne Radford said “ it was a no brainer to be honest after Dave Mace decided to resign, the trio have been at the club a number of years and are very well respected within the club and Non League football, their enthusiasm knowledge and passion was evident and I could think of no one better to help take the club forward”

The new management team had this to say “We have worked together for a number of years now at various levels within the game and have developed an understanding and trust in each other’s work. We are delighted to have been given this opportunity and we fully understand the responsibility that goes with the role to lead Worsbrough Bridge AFC’s First XI, a club that has been active within the community for over 90 years. We will look to take the team forward with a commitment to hard work and endeavour and look to play the right way. The work will begin immediately in planning for pre season and the new season ahead.”

The Club are also in talks with other interested parties to take roles on with the Reserve Team and the U19s but would still welcome contact from and individual that may feel they can add to our club
