A tough cup match that saw the return of Coach Eldred to the touch line for the Reds.
Dynamos kicked off and looked positive from the start, some good passing and individual skill took the traveling team by surprise and it wasn't long before the goal machine that is Harvey Attfield had managed to put the home side in front with a lovely finish. More of the same followed and a shell shocked Seagulls shipped two more goals in quick succession to young Attfield. Dynamos could have punished Seagulls more as the chances came and went before the half time whistle blew. Seagulls F.C came out after half time looking like a different side, Dynamos were under pressure and looked shaky. It was a just a matter of time before the reds defence was opened up by a ball over the top and Seagulls were back in the game. The Dynamos midfield and defence couldn’t cope with the relentless long balls over the top and soon enough were on level terms after having a three goal lead. It ended 3 a piece and went on to extra time, the first half was a stale mate with neither side looking likely to break the deadlock. The second half of extra time saw Seagulls take the lead after just a few minutes with their tried and tested long ball over the top. Dynamos upped their game and managed to squeeze an equalizer in what was a great finish to a superb match, especially for the neutral spectator on the side-line. Unfortunately Dynamos were not so lucky with the outcome of the penalty shoot-out and Seagulls went through to the next round of the cup.
