Wotton whitewash Whitehall with twelve tries to win 64 nil

Wotton’s first trip to Foundry Lane appeared to give them the steel to play the game with focus and intent.

On the face of it Wotton travelling to Whitehall to play rugby for the very first time in the clubs history, with just fifteen players, many in positions that they would not normally be asked to fill, should have put just an inkling of doubt in the minds of the players that the outcome might not be in favour of Wotton. But no, the tenacity and shear guts of this team came to the fore once more not only to put twelve tries on the opposition but to defend in such a way as not to allow them to score at all. Congratulations and a firm pat on the back to all the players from Wotton, it shows that all the hard work at training allowed the moves to be played as practiced with positive outcomes along with the discipline, that was previously lacking, being addressed gave the side cohesion and belief. Well done.
