Thompson heads wotton to victory
Wotton reserves 4 Coaley 1
On a high from their recent quarter final win Wotton started positively and were soon in control of the game, after some good work down the right from Marcus Watkins his in swinging cross was met by the head of Dave Thompson who directed the ball downwards and into the goal, shortly after a mix up between the Coaley defence and keeper allowed Simon Jackson to poach a strikers goal. Second half Coaley threw everything at Wotton and were rewarded with a goal. After a tense period of pressure for the home side the game was put out of reach with Jackson grabbing goals 3 and 4.
Wotton were pleased with an overall great performance especially from the young talent of Tommy Watkins and Matt Clements.
