RACE NIGHT Sat 25th January 2014
Race Night at the Swan, Wotton under Edge. Social and Fundraising Night 7.30pm onwards. A great chance for a few beers and a flutter on the horses via races on the projection screen in the function room. Large chunk of the stake money comes back to the club but you can also win a few quid yourself. £5 per ticket: on sale first week of January. See Andy Stockley, Matt Tait or your usual team contacts for details. Lets get a good turnout for this event and raise funds for the club. Over 16s only as there’s gambling involved but parents of juniors and friends/family v welcome.
There is a fbook event on the club page for this so signal your attendance on their please so the social team know what to do in terms of catering/snacks.

PLAYING KIT

Socks!
Playing socks – in junior and adult sizes –from Canterbury are NOW available to purchase by ALL club players. These are v good quality socks in royal blue with white turnovers with ‘WUE HC’ on the front. These are available in Small (12-3), Large (6-11) and I have a few XL (11+) left too. I have some more Mediums (3-6) on order. Price £8.

Mens Shirts
The new Mens Canterbury playing shirts are now available for sale. If you reserved yours back in the Summer or at various ‘fittings’ through the Autumn, then please get in touch. There may be some spares for those who weren’t with us back then. For those who we cant accommodate I suspect that another order will be going in soon.
I will make these available for sale at training and matches – or you can pop round to Emms Towers. Price £25

Sat 29th March 2014. Annual Dinner Dance & Awards at Cotswold Edge Golf Club. Our BIG end of season event. More details to follow and tickets on sale end Jan/early Feb

Fri 23rd – Mon 26th May 2014. We will be running a series of events and matches across the Spring Bank Holiday weekend to both celebrate our 25th Anniversary and the first year on the new pitch. More details to follow.

There will also be another ‘pub social’ (date TBC) in late Feb/early March 2014
