Under 12s 2015/16 set to benefit from McDonalds FA Charter Standard Free Kit Scheme

The McDonald’s FA Charter Standard Kit Scheme is part of a four-year programme, and they are providing thousands of Nike kits to junior football teams across the country.

Last year Wycombe Saints were among 5,000 accredited clubs across the UK to receive one of the 58,000 kits, demonstrating McDonald’s commitment to improving the standard of community football. The scheme could see over 250,000 strips distributed to accredited clubs over the course of the programme.

Club Treasurer Errol explained that the scheme commenced in September last year and an order was placed at that time which was received in February 2015. Club Secretary Geoff and Errol felt the age group that could benefit and provide a financial saving to the club is next season’s Under 12s who have the largest player membership.

McDonalds supplied 12 full kits, including a keeper strip and are set to do so again next month as year 2 of the scheme. It will leave the Under 12s needing only a top up order of 4/5 kits.

Whilst choice of kit was limited, the boys will enjoy playing in the famous Nike brand.

A sneak preview of the kit is tastefully modelled by FC midfield star, Finlay!
