3 Open Age
New head coach Ian Wormald has committed to coach both Summer & Winter teams

Main focus is going to be summer rugby
Just finished first full season of summer rugby
This summer Focused on bringing the juniors through with some of the older open age mixed in.
Next year we are going to be entering two teams - A First team and an Academy team that will focus on bringing the juniors through into the open age.
We will be fielding a winter team but this is more to keep the lads active than anything else.

4 Junior’s
We currently have 5 Junior teams made up of 7, 9, 10, 12, 15 and also zigga zagga’s rugby tots
90 kids playing rugby each week

5 Girls rugby & ladies rugby fit
Just before 6 week holidays we started girls rugby & ladies rugby fit
With the aim of trying to get a girls team going
We get up to 20 people turning up so hopefully next year with proper advertisement and start in line with the summer teams we can get a full team and get them playing some games.

6 Lease
Still not signed as our solicitor is struggling dealing with the council.
Rent should be £5000 per year plus vat £6000
But we have secured a rent reduction to bring it down to £1000
This will only last until 2020

7 Low moor club
Rumours – top odd & Harold

8 Plans for next year
Grow
Open age - two teams and get a coach in to work along side Ian so they can take the Academy on game day.
Juniors – We will going into to schools and running some free after school clubs to try recruit players

We will be holding a free junior open day again as the one we held this year was so succesfull – 40 kids turned up and out those we got 10 start turning up to training.

I want to start another U7’s as one of my aim is try have a team at every age group.

New kits for every age group, raffle, one club and arrange a full club photo with every age group

We are also going to look at the cost of subs for families who have more than one child playing at wyke.

9 Questions
Will there be a Winter Sign on fee?

No, with the shift going to summer now- the Winter team is there purely to keep everyone match fitness up so no sign on fee will be charged.

What about Summer Sign on fee?

This will be something that will be discussed nearer the time when the sponsorship is sorted then it will give us a better indication of what will be needed

Is there any chance to get the coaches kitted out so the club looks better when turning up to matches?
It is something that has been brought up before and wasn’t decided on- Coaches are doing this as a volunteering option so where would we stop we the rest of the volunteers that wouldn’t get anything?- It still wasn’t decided and was agreed to look it further once the figures from the sponsorship raffle was in to see if it was an option.

With the Shift of the Open age moving in line with the juniors and changing to summer focus- is ti possible to change our financial year to Jan- Dec rather than July –Jun as it will give a better overview of our financial accounts.

All in agreement

Could we look into getting someone in to run the tea stall on a permanent basis as the voluntary option we decided at the beginning is only working for a couple of teams?

This would mean that there would be 1 point of contact for the kitchen and no one has to worry about getting some to try an volunteer on a weekly basis- This person would be responsible for everything kitchen related on a game day and would free up other people to do extra job as that are covered- Such as raffles on game days- so in essence would pay for it self- It was suggested Ellie Saxby as she has helped on a voluntary basis on the last 3 events and was great at it. Committee was in agreement.
