On Sunday morning Wyke under 8’s played host to local team Odsal Sedbergh, the home team started well with an opening try from Jake Rayner

On Sunday morning Wyke under 8’s played host to local team Odsal Sedbergh, the home team started well with an opening try from Jake Rayner, from this point the tries started rolling on a tit for tat basis with further tries coming from Harry Owen scoring a brace, Jake Rayner taking his 2nd try of the game, Jabriel Karolia, and Macaulay Abrahams, to leave the half-time score at 24-12 in Wyke’s favour.
The 2nd half started well with some fantastic defending from Wyke’s Joseph Fynn, Dylan Frith, Aiden Law, Riley Firth, Thomas Ockerby, and Harvey Dimbleby as Sedbergh only managed to add a further 3 tries in the 2nd half.
Wyke managed to add a further 4 tries to their tally with a try for Sam Howarth – who scored his first try of the season and earning him the biggest cheer of the match.
Harry Owen managed to go over for his hat trick of tries, Toby Schofield went over for his brace before a fantastic 3/4 length of the field run by Harry Owen gave him his 4th try of the game, leaving the final score 40-24 to give Wyke their 2nd win of the weekend.
