Wyke U17's today played in the WEST RIDING LEAGUE CUP FINAL at Cougar Park, Keighley the game kicked off at 12
Wyke U17's today played in the WEST RIDING LEAGUE CUP FINAL at Cougar Park, Keighley
the game kicked off at 12 and Wyke started very strong not giving Underbank a chance to score ,great ball work and defence meant Wyke were 28 to nil in front by half time. Second half started slowly but got under way with wyke scoring first ,then Underbank seemed to wake up and scored a few tries as Wyke seemed to be too confident which let Underbank back into the game.Some great try saving tackles from Wyke who then scored again to seal the victory with the final score at 38 to 24.After the full time buzzer sounded the champagne bottle corks popped and the players roared.The players then collected there medals and trophy to the sound of Wyke supporters singing ZIG A ZAGGA. Wyke were crowned the WEST RIDING LEAGUE CUP FINAL WINNERS !
A great acheivement for whole the team and coaches too.
