1. Wythenshawe CC Safeguarding Contact

Our Club Safeguarding Officer is Mrs Tracy Bailey

Having been a member of Wythenshawe CC for over 40 years, holding many club positions over the years in addition to being a parent, teacher and in recent years the lead All Stars Activator since the programme started 7 years ago.
The Club Safeguarding Officer role is by far one of the most important and crucial volunteer roles in the club, maintaining ECB standards are met, ensuring all staff and volunteers who have contact with juniors, are compliant with the ECB Safe Hands System, this involves initiating DBS, Coach Qualifications, Safeguarding & First Aid training is up to date and renewed when required, creating opportunities for development for new coaches, parent volunteers and juniors who wish to move into supporting the club as scorers and supporting juniors also with accreditation in the Duke of Edinburgh awards process.

I attend yearly Safeguarding training to remain compliant, manage the official ECB Safe Hands Management System Portal as well as keeping our website and other social media platforms free from bullying and abuse, it is mine and the club's sole intention to ensure that Wythenshawe CC continues to offer a safe, welcoming and FUN environment for all.
