JUNIOR CRICKET REGISTRATION DAY SUNDAY 4th MAR 12-3pm

Wythenshawe Cricket Club Juniors (WCC Jnrs) are a well established local junior cricket club and are part of the Wythenshawe Cricket Club, based in Northenden, Wythenshawe, Manchester (Established 1876) making us the OLDEST surviving sports club in Wythenshawe.
Boys and girls aged from 7-14 compete in the South Manchester Junior Cricket League (SMJCL) In recent years our U18 team played in the Saddleworth & District Junior cricket league, where for back to back seasons 2014 & 2015 we were the worthy winners of the Romida Trophy, Captained on both occasions by Sam Grant.
The SDCL has now ended and we joined the newly formed Greater Manchester Cricket League as a founder club in 2016.
We will this season 2018 (which starts in April) have Junior/Youth sides Wythenshawe Wizards U9's (training & league friendlies) U11's will play in the SMJCL in paired innings softball friendlies (this has replaced the U10s league) U11s who are confident players will play hardball league Sunday mornings 10am. We will also enter into the league and cup competitions for the SMJCL for U12 (pairs innings) and U13's traditional.
Guaranteeing lots of competitive cricket for all our players to learn & improve their game.
Our juniors train on THURSDAY EVENINGS 6:15 TO 8pm(weather permitting)

ECB ALLSTARS Cricket will be back again from May 17th ages 5-8 year olds (register via ECB AllStars Online) £40 for 8 weeks of cricket fun!

New Youth players are VERY welcome (U15/18's) who will train on WEDNESDAY evenings with WCC Seniors 6:15-8pm where they will have opportunity to be selected and play weekend cricket for our Senior XI's.

We have a team of dedicated coaches, who have all completed their UKCC Level 1 or Level 2 coaching certificates, all are DBS registered and are completely enthusiastic about teaching cricket to our junior players.
We have seen over the past 5 years, many of our players represent WCC in The City Of Manchester Cricket Squads and District Representative Cricket for The Saddleworth & District League, competing with and against other selected County and City teams from across the North West of England.

We are currently training indoors EVERY Thurs until 5th April at Manchester Enterprise Academy, Simonsway, Wythenshawe 6-7pm Jnrs and 7-8pm Snrs £3.50 per session.
NEW players welcome to join us each week.

WCC Jnrs are achieving a great standard of cricket, we believe we are one of THE BEST junior cricket clubs in South Manchester, we offer a great, affordable place to play and learn about cricket and are especially welcoming to ALL the family...once you join WCC Jnrs you will see for yourself why our children and their families come back year after year to be part of such a fantastic CLUBMARK FOCUS status club.

Myself and all the WCC Committee look forward to welcoming new and existing members, their families and friends to Wythenshawe Cricket Club.
