Yardley 1st XV travel to 3rd Place Newcastle Staffs who will prove to be a challenge for the on form Yardley. A strong team travel away with the intention of upsetting Newcastle and their supporters with a victory.
The 1st XV have enjoyed a spell of wins since they suffered a poor start to the season.
1st XV Captain Ashley Knight who has made a return from injury 'we are looking forward to facing Newcastle, we know of Newcastles strengths and they are aware of ours- of course I am optimistic, I have every faith in my team' Unfortunately Vice captain Leigh Griffin is suffering an injury which is taking longer than anticipated to heal.
The 2nd XV face a clash to Old Saltleans at home. Utility back player Justin Kearns (pictured) is looking forward to facing his former team mates, Joining yardley a couple of seasons ago, Justin has developed as a player and enjoyed a spell playing in the 1st XV and is hungry to impress.
The 3rd XV dont have a game this week as there wasnt enough confirmed players to put the team in a pool. Ian Cook will continue to text players weekly asking if they are available for a game.
