Nick tragically passed away on Friday 16th December 2016.
Nick was a former captain and true "Legend" of Yarnbury in a career that spanned almost 40 years with the club. He made his debut for the 3rd team against Leos 3rds on the same day as his brother Martin and his best friend Paul Trigg and was never to look back.
His warmth, humour and wonderful personality touched us all in so many ways and he was always keen to offer advice and help to any young players just making their way in the game. He really was an inspiration to everyone that was lucky enough to have considered him a teammate and friend.
His off field antics and tales from tours is the stuff of legend which will be passed down to generations to come and we will all greatly miss his perennial smile, company and friendship. Our hearts are truly broken Nick and each and every one of the Yarnbury family is hurting right now but at the same time extremely proud to have been your friend and teammate.

Nick leaves behind his wife Helen and two lovely children Jenny and Robert, our thoughts and prayers are with them and all of his family. Please respect their privacy at this time.
