The best way to keep up to date with Yarnbury RFC

Y2Y 2018

3 months ago By Charlie Brownridge

The Yarnbury bike ride returns..

The Y2Y Cycle ride is back for its 6th Year, having already raised over £58k for local charities we are looking to increase on an already fantastic total. This year’s ride is a one-day event leaving the Club House and returning back the same day.
The ride will be on 16th June travelling to Wetherby RUFC and then on to York RUFC for lunch, there will be plenty of places to stop for a rest on route. The route will be about 65Miles but if that’s too much you can just do what you feel you can do, its not a race nor an endurance event and there will be support vehicles to help you out if you find it too difficult.

We will return to the Club House for about 5pm where we plan to have some fun, music and food. There are over 70 already signed up so why not come along raise money for good causes and have a great day out with great people.

This year we plan to Raise funds for two Charities;
Leeds Mind a mental health Charity based in the City.

Rob Stephenson Trust (no relation) Rob was killed in a recent car accident and his family have named a charity in his name to help buy sports equipment for local children’s groups. Robs family have links to Malton and Norton RUFC.

The ride is open to anyone but if they are 16 or 17 they will need their parents signed permission if 15 or under they will need a parent with them on the day.

The ride costs £50/person which includes a cycle shirt, lunch Saturday, a Hog Roast back at the club and insurance. So if you fancy a great day out with a great group of people,
Sort: 20-48-42
Acc. No. 73704165

This needs to be done asap as we need to order the shirts.
