Yarnbury U16's Victory

Sunday 27th September our u16s team went out with confidence on the first team pitch to face Bradford and Bingley in the Yorkshire cup match. Lister, Pato and Whopper had trained us well and prepared us to be ready for this confrontation. We had a full squad of 16 turn out on the morning and all played well throughout the match with aggressiveness and commitment. The forwards particularly showed the growing crowd who were cheering quite loudly, in particular my mum, their lifting skills which they have been practicing through pre-season training. Try's were scored by Dylan, Tom and Benji to make the score line 31 points to us. Overall we thank the away side for giving us a tough match we now progress into the Yorkshire cup hoping to go further than we have previous years.
