We arranged Friday evening ko to suit the opposition. They turned up with a huge squad blostered with rugby league academy players . Late cry off meant we just had 15. It was always going to be an uphill struggle but after the ref gave two tries after blatant knock on's the result was invertible. We fought back well but just had a penalty to show for our territorial advantage.The second half started with a score for them. Pressure on their line saw a tap penalty go out to Alex to score in the corner. A whole raft of replacements on their side saw fresh legs able run us around and we also went down to 14. Good defence limited them to two more tries.
Man of the match was voted by opposition to be Matt Sheard but for me Sonny gave a great performance in the tackling stakes.
