A slow start and some basic mistakes saw Yarnbury U16s go in 14-0 down at half time.
An improved start to the second half saw Yarnbury start applying pressure which eventually resulted in a charged down kick with Carter Proctor touching down and the conversion was made from wide out by Max Lee. Yarnbury had now got a foot hold in the game and were starting to gain territory and greater possession. With Sheffield a man down to a yellow card for repeated hands in the ruck Yarnbury scored a second try following a great break by Jacob Butterfield play was then switched and Ed Green powered over.
It looked like Yarnbury were getting on top but further mistakes allowed Sheffield to get back on top and they eventually scored a 3rd try with 10 mins to go. With Yarnbury trying to play from deep in the dying stages Sheffield created another turn over and scored with the last play of the game.
MOM went to Jamie Baker who had a solid game at scrum half after being switched after 20 mins as the team was shuffled to gain a platform in the game.
