YHC opens its doors for a day of sporting activities including 6-a-side hockey matches, junior hockey, rounders, kwik cricket, BBQ, music, tuck shop, bar and more.

Following in the wake of all the Olympic action, what better way to welcome in the new season than an action packed Club Day forming part of the England Hockey National #HockeyFest on the 3rd September 2016.

#HockeyFest offers a fantastic opportunity for new and existing players to pick up a stick, join in the fun and be part of a National event at your local hockey club.

Schedule:
9:30am - arrival, sign up, warm up
10am - mixed 6-a-side hockey tournament
11am - junior hockey
12pm - BBQ and sports games

It's an interactive day of fun and games and it doesn’t matter if you’ve never been to a hockey club before, a friendly welcome can be guaranteed with plenty of opportunities for you to get involved.

Our Club Day is open to everyone, irrelevant of age or experience. Playing hockey at YHC is a great way to make new friends and get regular exercise in a fun and sociable environment. If you have played before at whatever level then come along and check out the Club - meet the coaches and members or watch a friendly game.

We will be welcoming new players, volunteers and officials as well as providing an opportunity for seasoned members to catch up with each other.

A day dedicated to bringing our club together to celebrate, communicate and participate.
