Yateley made a robust start to their match against 3rd in the table, City of Portsmouth, with solid defence from all players to hold the scoreline at 0-0 for the first quarter.
The persistent attack could not be countered by the Yateley team and open play goals were conceded, with the home team down 0-3 by half time.

The furious pace of the game took more toll in the 2nd half, with only one sub to ease the intensity of play on hard-working legs. Although Yateley were able to win penalty corners from their attacking play, they were unable to beat the keeper with their straight strikes on goal.

Player of the Match, Lozzer, had a terrific game with unbelievable tracking back to support the defenders. However, City of Portsmouth proved too strong and built the scoreline to 7 goals by the close.
