PREVIEW: AFC Totton v Yate Town

2 weeks ago By Sebastian Parker

Yate Town make the trip to the Testwood Stadium to face AFC Totton tomorrow afternoon.

The Bluebells will look to make it 9 games unbeaten, but face a tough fixture against The Stags.

Tomorrow's host go into tomorrow's game on the back of an impressive FA Trophy victory away at Gosport Borough, but Yate are still beaming with confidence and will look for the positives in the two ties against Dorchester, in which for large periods of both games we more than matched them.

The Southern Football League has confirmed that there will be a minutes silence observed at all games this Saturday to pay its respects to Leicester City FC and the club's chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and as a mark of respect for the tragic incident that occurred last Saturday.

It is a time for the football family to come together as one as our thoughts are with those affected.

Polly's View:
Tomorrow we continue our run of tough games when we travel to AFC Totton. Our opponents will be buoyed by their FA Trophy success last time out, so it is really important that we continue with the same mindset that we have displayed when losing in the cup competitions this season. If the squad can replicate their performances against Dorchester they will give themselves every opportunity to gain some kind of positive result.

Team News

David Sims-Burgess and Josh Cann still ruled out through injury.
