Pre-Season is finally over and the new football season is here. This is only our second season together and the group has really put in the graft throughout the last six weeks and we believe we are ready and looking forward to the challenges ahead.

Tomorrow we travel to Kidlington in the opening fixture of the 2017/18 campaign, our opponents have made the sideways move into the The Southern League South West Division, so are a little unknown to most of us although judging by their pre-season results, we will have to perform to our strengths to gain any kind of positive result.

Missing tomorrow through injury are Luke Bryan who has a slight hamstring injury, while new signing George Box is getting closer to fitness. New signings Brad Abraham, Mitch Tippins, Chris Gregan, Brad Norris and Ben Brookes join the existing players that finished last season as we hope to maintain the momentum gained throughout March and April.

The atmosphere within the squad and around the football club is really positive, now it is time for the games to begin and we must start better than last season, I am sure we will.
