With lots of new (and familiar) faces joining the first team squad it’s taken a little while to settle in and start to get some consistency. Having said that we were desperately unlucky no to progress further than 2 rounds in the FA Cup having hammered Huntingdon town 12-0 then drawing with higher league Dereham Town 4-4 again at home before losing out to a single error in the replay at Dereham – a long mid-week trip! We are already at the second qualifying round of the FA Vase having despatched Eynesbury Rovers 7-0 and take on Newmarket Town of the Thurlow Nunn Premier league at home on Saturday 24th September 3pm KO (Please note that as it’s a national FA competition, the normal league game complimentary entry for Family Playing Members does not apply – see note on every seasons membership cards).

Of course now we are back into the playing season, all of our 1st team players join in the August draw to support the club and help generate those all important funds to help maintain and develop our facilities J
