Bedford bowls Yelverton U15's to victory in ECB Under 15 National Club Championship
YBCC Under-15's made a winning start to the season with a 15 run victory over Plymstock in the ECB Under 15 National Club Championship.
Jay Warner (15), Josh Halloran (20 Not Out), Ben Pearson (11) and James Douie (16) compiled 77 for 2 off their reduced 15 overs. Plymstock ended their innings at 62 for 5 with Tom Bedford the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 5, Ben Pearson and Jay Warner also picking up a wicket each.
On a bitterly cold & wet April evening, it was a great team effort in the field.
Yelverton will meet either Plymouth or Cornwood in the 2nd Round - to be played by Sunday May 13th.
