Cwm look to build on their impressive win whilst The Welfare look for their first 3 points.

The Gwent county fixtures started on Tuesday and Cwm recorded one of the stand out results, thumping newly promoted Machen 4-0. The Ebbw Vale based side have made some great signings during the summer and will be looking to build on last years mid table finish. Cwm travel to The Welfare this weekend, with The Welfare coming off the back of a 1-1 draw away to New Inn. Last seasons fixtures between the 2 sides were tight affairs with The Welfare winning the home game 3-2 and the away fixture ending 0-0 despite Cwm dominating the game.

Elsewhere early season favourites Abertillery Excelsiors and Pill AFC look to build on their excellent results with Excelsiors facing Pentwynmawr who narrowly lost 0-1 to Newport Corinthians whilst Pill make the long trip to Clydach who picked up a good point away to Wattsville with a 2-2.

In Division 1 Albion Rovers will be looking to bounce back after their narrow defeat to newly promoted Villa Dino, As they host Abercarn United who drew 0-0 with Fairfield in the opening fixtures.

In division 3 newly Promoted Oak FC, who recorded a fine 1-2 win away to Coed Eva athletic, host free scoring Brynmawr AFC who romped home 4-0 against Severn Tunnel.
