Welcome to the touring section of the York RUFC...
York RUFC has a long and enviable reputation of organising tours both in the UK and abroad. Players of all ages and abilities, as well as non-playing members and sponsors, are encouraged to come along to get together and experience the joys of touring.
You will share exploits and experiences with your fellow tourists that you will talk about for the rest of your playing days and beyond; stories that, like a good wine, will get better with age but as per the ancient tradition, what goes on tour stays on tour!
After a long hard season the tour is a well earned opportunity to travel, meet interesting people and together drink yourselves to a standstill. 'You had to be there' never covered an event so accurately. Ultimately it provides the world at large with an opportunity to marvel in disbelief at what grown men do for fun!
York RUFC aims to tour each year and the 11/12 season will be no exception. After successful trips to Edinburgh 11, Antwerp 09, Skegness 08, Krakow 07 & Cork 06, we will be moving a little closer to home.
