YORKSHIRE CHAMPIONS.
U16's are Yorkshire Champions.
After two previous dissapointing defeats in the final to the same team the U16's finally overcame their great rivals Middlesbrough to win the blue ribbon U16's County Cup. In a great final at West Park, York ran out 31-22 winners scoring six tries to three. Five of the tries were scored by the backs which was a testamant to the way this team try and play.
Praise must go to Middlesbrough for the way the game was played and the fact that they never gave up trying to retain the trophy.
Well done to all 24 of the squad who have been involved in the cup run this year. It was a well deserved victory.
